Paris Part 5: Love

Just a couple romantic things my beau and I did on this trip!

*We bought a lock and key from a street vendor on the Pont des Arts, wrote our initials on the lock, locked it to the bridge, and threw away the keys! Now there’s a permanent symbol of our love in Paris — barring rebels with bull-cutters — waiting for us until we return. As a mini-wedding gift, we also bought Tori and Kitty their own lock and key, so they went to the bridge on their final night in Paris to lock theirs up and throw away the key too!

*I took Sean to see the “I Love You Wall“. It’s in Montmartre, in a little park just behind the Abbesses Métro station, and the wall features the phrase “I love you” in over 250 languages. It was completed by two artists — Frederic Baron and Claire Kito.
